The Payload Development Kit (PDK) further extends payload development to end-users, enabling the rapid development of other mission-specific payloads. The PDK provides a full set of payload development tools for electrical, mechanical, and software integration. PDK features include:
Supplementary EO/IR Payload – Provides day and night situational awareness when carrying non-optical payloads, and secondary view-angle intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capability.
Secure IP Networking – Leverage the all-digital AES-encrypted network to integrate payload data and controls with a ground station.
Sensor Data + Power from the AirCraft – Removes the need for developers to integrate batteries, GPS or other sensors in their payload by providing access to services onboard the aircraft.
The Uncrewed Development Kits (UDK) further extend the SkyRanger platform for end-users, enabling complex integrations and rapid development of capabilities to meet tomorrows evolving mission sets.
